Berger Schmidt developed the site in collaboration with Darmstadt graphic designer Simon Droscha, while using the content management system Drupal .

Romantically situated between ancient chestnut trees at the foot of Mathildenhöhe, the Darmstädter beer garden has gained cult status not only for young students but also for old-established Darmstadt inhabitants.
